Drake Electronic Filing Security
We must electronically send taxpayer information through the Drake Electronic Filing Center in order to transmit client data to the Internal Revenue Service. We take the protection of your data seriously. Drake maintains reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that are designed to protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. All data collected through out Sites is protected by a secure server. In addition, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to secure the transmission of data, including credit card information, from the internet to our systems. SSL encryption is working when you see either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom of your browser window. We require all of our employees to sign a non-disclosure agreement regarding the protection of customer data. The safety and security of your information also depends on you.
